Parts Inspection & Reverse Engineering

A new addition to our quality program is the Faro Laser Scanner. The Faro can be used to inspect a casting once we make a part, and as part of our preventative pattern maintenance program, to identify if a pattern has become worn.  

With the scanner we are able to:

• Reverse engineer products and components to create CAD drawings

• Visualize complex interiors and conduct dimensional inspections of complex components 

• Cost-efficiently monitor and inspect parts 

• Reduce scrap and re-work due to early and comprehensive 3D quality control
