Pattern Facility

Our in-house pattern facility is staffed with skilled craftsmen to ensure high-quality production standards. By working closely with our own process engineers and production department, our pattern makers and designers can create tools that fit our equipment, work right the first time, and produce a better casting in a shorter lead time. 

Our experienced engineering team will work with you to seek out product improvements and cost savings in the total design of the part, tooling and equipment for production of sand cast products. 

Services include:

• In-house CAD operators and tooling designer

• Project Management

• MAGMA® solidification software to improve part quality and shorten lead times  

• C+M simulation software to design core boxes

• Design and build patterns and core boxes 

• Pattern makers are capable of working with steel, aluminum, and urethane equipment

Kohler Industrial Castings can also work with customers on using their existing transferred tooling and core boxes to save cost.
